Gun Owners Face Perfect Storm in 2012

Gun owners in California face the "Perfect Storm" of events in 2012. Not only are we suffering a very bad economy with donations being down, but it is combined with an anti-gunner controlled State Legislature and our new anti-gun governor Jerry Brown.

This is very unfortunate at this time in politics, when we have the new reapportionment giving California voters a chance to vote out some of the worst anti-gunners in the legislature, combined with the anti-big government sentiment of the Tea Party type people. Gun Owners of California is working overtime to determine and secure our best chances to defeat anti-gunners in the legislature, but we will need extra help from our members NOW and right through the 2012 elections, in order to get the job done.

That's why we're asking everyone who looks at this alert to our members and friends, to go to the "JOIN" section of the GOC website and send an emergency donation. ALSO; please forward this information on to all those on your email list and ask them to join GOC right now.

If we just win a couple of races next year, it could be the difference between adding more radical anti-gun laws, or stopping ALL ANTI-GUN LAWS after 2012!

We can't fix government by complaining about it----we can only fix government by DOING something about it. Please do what you can today. Thank you.

Hello, I need some information please. My boyfriend and I are flying to SAN from BNA soon for vacation. Southwest has assured us here in Nashville that we can check our handguns in the luggage in locked cases. We understand we likely cannot carry in California but plan to at least have our handguns in our hotel room. But there has been some speculation among our peers that we might be arrested or hit with a felony when we return home and check the guns at SAN airport because we are not California residents with California paperwork? Can you help me figure out the safest and legal way to get our handguns back home with us? Thanks!
