Memos and Motivations.....
Whether Fast and Furious was intended from the beginning to promote anti-gun regulation and anti-Second Amendment activity cannot be proved, but that it did spawn conversation and thought to do that very thing, is. It is not hard to believe that the intent was there from it's origins, for even as a candidate, President Obama endorsed a ban on handguns and spoke in favor of greater restrictions on purchase/possession of firearms. At one point the President stated that he was working for gun control with "alternative methods." Those alternative methods could be seen as the UN Small Arms Treaty, as well as discussions that took place centering around the idea to use the ATF's Operation as justification for more oppressive anti-gun laws. Shortly after the scandal broke out in the news, you will recall that the border states, which includes California, were mandated to immediately report sales of two or more long guns when purchased at the same time....Everybody saw clearly that that was the ATF's effort to deflect attention from the thousands of guns that were allowed to "walk" into Mexico and had been lost track of by the same ATF. As more memos and documents surface, it is becoming increasingly clear who is complicit in this scandal...it goes all the way to the top!

Fast and Furious Timeline....
Spin and Twist is a good way to describe the actions of a very delinquent U.S. Attorney General named Eric Holder, and his croneys in the U.S. Department of Justice. ( Pardon me as we laugh over the word Justice.) So far, they all have evaded prosecution, but evasion can last only so long. In this Timeline of dates, times and places, you get a great picture of just exactly why this is the huge scandal that it is. This is the very worse scandal to arise out of any administration and many prosecutions are needed, are being called for, and the fact that none have taken place yet may be shameful. This scandal reveals the corruption of an entire Department, and perhaps, most likely, administration. Justice indeed!
