Gun Owners came from far and wide across California, on Tuesday, the 6th of May, to Rally together in Protest Against the Backdoor Registration bill, AB 2062 that will negatively affect all aspects of handgun ammunition.
Standing in the pleasant morning sun,the crowd was addressed and encouragedby adament pro-gun Senator Tom McClintock. Assemblymen Doug LaMalfa and Bill Mase added their support to the mulitude of passionate gun owners determined to retain their gun rights in California.
Breaking up into groups, the men and women took to the Capitol steps to enter in and lobby the offices of the Assembly Appropriations Committee and the office of thebills author, Assemblyman DeLeon (D-Los Angeles).
Drawing a line in the sand, standing up and being counted, these determined gun owners made their case for the detrimental impact this anti-gun bill will have on the lawful gun owner. With enthusiasm, they vowed to continue this battle against a bill that trounces their freedoms.
