The Left’s Dirty Little Secret on Taking Our Guns Isn’t So Secret Anymore

The dirty little secret of that the Left is coming for our guns isn’t so secret anymore.

Thank you Beto O’Rourke – the presidential contender whose polling numbers hover around the 1% mark, but we really don’t care about that.

What we do care about is that he peeled back the ugly gun confiscation mask that the Left has been wearing for years.  Their platitudes of wanting “common sense gun laws” rather than outright confiscation have been soundly replaced with a “HELL YES, WE’RE GOING TO TAKE YOUR AR-15, YOUR AK-47.”

This has already caused a bit of infighting with the Democrats – but we don’t care about that either.  We’ve known all along there is a “reasonable” gun control public persona they need to maintain, yet underneath, in their sanctimonious, elitist hearts, we all know they want to disarm us.  Fellow presidential candidates and U.S. Senators Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Cory Booker (D-New Jersey) have stood by Beto and his remarks on confiscation.

“HELL YES, WE’RE GOING TO TAKE YOUR AR-15, YOUR AK-47.”
Democrat Presidential Candidate Beto O’Rourke – 9/12/19

After Beto made this thundering statement at the last Presidential Debate – for which he received some thunderous applause – he was questioned by a reporter who was curious as to how he would “reassure” owners of assault rifles that the government wasn’t coming to take their guns.

“I want to be really clear,” O’Rourke answered. “That’s exactly what we’re going to do.”

Beto and his team then doubled down, with his campaign manager tweeting  “GET EVERY ONE OF THOSE GODDAMN GUNS OFF OUR STREETS.” I guess he didn’t think his boss was clear enough with his “Hell yes” comment.  While many in the political realm believe his extreme comments not only sank his current dismal chance at becoming president, but he also shot himself in the foot with any future political rise in his own “gun-friendly” state of Texas (relatively speaking, of course).  We can only hope this is the case, but that said, he’s digging in and making some campaign bucks in the process – he has started selling T-shirts on his campaign website that read: “HELL YES WE’RE GOING TO TAKE YOUR AR-15.”

The T-shirts cost $30 a pop. But that’s not all, anti-gun sports fans!  In addition to the “HELL YES” shirts, the campaign started a push for shirts that say, “THIS IS F*CKED UP,” no less than six times on the front.  Well then.  This must be their high-brow attempt to curb gun violence.

California has more than our fair share of Constitutionally challenged politicians but yikes – other states like Texas are catching up.  Beto makes no bones about wanting to take our guns, and a fellow Texan’s bizarre description of an AR-15 is absolutely cringe-worthy – and scary since she actually has a seat in Congress:

I held an AR-15 in my hand, I wish I hadn’t. It is as heavy as 10 boxes that you might be moving. And the bullet that is utilized, a .50 caliber, these kinds of bullets need to be licensed and do not need to be on the street.”

Representative Sheila Jackson Lee – D-Texas

Some people have given Beto props for at least being honest with his call for confiscation.  Others are angry he spilled their dirty little secret.  For us at GOC?  Well, we always appreciate the truth.

From now on, all utterances of the national Socialist-Left on the issue will be in the context of gun confiscation. They have demanded this over 70 times in the past few years. They are no longer looking for ‘gun reform’ they want our guns:

Thanks for all the great links – as we said in the blog itself “We’ve known all along there is a “reasonable” gun control public persona they need to maintain, yet underneath, in their sanctimonious, elitist hearts, we all know they want to disarm us…”

And, quoting from an article published today, September 30, 2019 in the Federalist responding to the assault weapon hearing in Congress yesterday,”Thirty years into the national debate over semi-automatic rifles and ammunition magazines designed for defensive purposes, the only thing that has changed is the openness with which Democrats demonstrate their determination to prohibit the private ownership of firearms.”

Be assured, GOC knows exactly what the intent of the anti-gunners has been, is currently, and will always be.
