Gun Owners of America is a non-profit lobbying organization formed in 1975 to preserve and defend the Second Amendment rights of gun owners across the country. We focus our time and resources in the political fight, while raising funds through the Gun Owners Foundation to support lawsuits and other charitable efforts to further protect gun rights nationwide. GOA and GOF work together and in coordination with Gun Owners of California, a separate entity with political efforts focused specifically in the State of California.

Summary

We are looking for a web developer/programmer who will be responsible for building and maintaining innovative websites to help the Gun Owners organizations further our goals. We need a developer who is prepared to work with each organization as needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the Vice Chairman and Executive Director’s in order to develop appropriate websites and various web-based campaigns
  • Maintain websites by performing necessary updates, troubleshooting, formatting, posting, etc

Required Skills

Development and web programming experience using extensible web authoring tools
Self-starter with strong self-management skills
Ability to prioritize and organize multiple responsibilities
